This day was truly memorable—January 3, 2023, was my first time officially participating in an event as a "Temple University student." Although it was called a "New Student Welcome," the scene was much livelier than I had imagined, like a small party where everyone was quite relaxed.

I was a bit nervous at first—who wouldn't be? But after taking a Polaroid group photo, I gradually relaxed. Everyone gathered around that giant "T" for photos, and it felt like we all instantly received a "Temple certification."

The variety of drinks was impressive, and the dinner was surprisingly well-prepared! The paper plates held a simple but thoughtful combination: roasted chicken, pasta, salad, cake for dessert, and bread. After eating, I felt comfortable and satisfied, making socializing less awkward.

There was even a raffle! I received two red coupons, and although I didn't win any prizes, these ceremonial elements really sparked a bit of excitement.

Throughout the event, it didn't feel like "being introduced to the school," but rather like "being welcomed as part of this family." I met new friends, chatted with future classmates, and gradually realized—oh, my life will unfold here in the coming days.

I hope 2023 will be a year that begins just right.
