My Hawaii Trip in December 2024

When I first arrived at the beach in the evening, the sky was slowly getting dark, the clouds were thick, but the sea was still calm. I took off my shoes, stepped on the sand, and felt my whole body finally relax from a tense state. At that moment, I really didn't want to think about work, didn't want to scroll through my phone, didn't want to deal with anyone, just wanted to raise my hands and smile like in the photo.

I went to the seaside again in the evening. There weren't many people around, just the waves hitting the shore one after another. The water was dark green, and the sky was completely black. That scene was actually quite stunning, very quiet, but you could feel that the sea was alive, it was breathing. At that time, I suddenly felt that I had been too tired these past few years, like I was constantly running but didn't know where the destination was.

The next day I woke up early and caught the sunrise. The sun slowly rose from the sea, and the whole sky turned orange-red, a bit dreamy. I sat there alone watching, didn't take too many photos, just wanted to quietly watch it rise, feeling that if I was busy taking photos all the time, it would be a waste of such a moment.

On the return flight, I stared blankly at the sea of clouds outside the window. The sunset cast a bit of pink-orange light on the engine, feeling so unreal. I suddenly felt a bit reluctant for this trip to end. Although it was just a few days, it really made me feel that I was still alive, could still go to places I like, and could still have expectations.
